Have you ever seen a METEOR CRATER?  

It’s said that 50,000  years ago a meteor came hurtling about 40,000 miles per hour at earth.  The meteorite or clusters of meteorites are estimated to be about 150 feet across and weighing several hundred thousand tons and struck with explosive forces of 20 million tons.    The explosion left a crater 700 feet deep and over 4000 feet across.  They say to give you a better idea of the size, imagine 20 football games being played simultaneously on its floor, while more than 2 million spectators observe from its sloping sides.

Scientists have done extensive studies of this METEOR CRATER through the years.  Also Astronauts have trained here for years and still do so today.  This METEOR CRATER is the first proven and best preserved impact site on earth.  Admission  is $18.00 per person.
