TORTILLA FLAT is a really cool  place.  They say LOCATION – LOCATION – LOCATION!!!   This place has the location.  They are in Maricopa County Arizona.  This is the last surviving stagecoach stop on the APACHE TRAIL.  It’s about half way through the Apache Trail drive so it makes for a very nice break in the drive to stretch your legs and get a drink and bite to eat.  I found that the food is just ok and the service is horrible.  The servers don’t care if you are there or not.  It’s still worth visiting because it’s unique and a great place to stretch your legs and get a drink.  The bar seats are horse saddles and they have lots of animals and western things on the walls; even the bathrooms are unique.   Attached to the restaurant is also a gift shop.  If you are in the area, check it out.  I hope your service is better than mine.   

Be sure to get gas before you start this drive. This is a beautiful drive. Make sure you have a camera and that the batteries are charged with battery back up chargers. If you are looking for a camera take a look at these.
