Wild Adventures is a theme park in Valdosta, Georgia.  I’m willing to bet if you don’t live in Georgia  or North Florida, you have no idea where WILD ADVENTURES is located.  It’s about 5 miles south of Valdosta in south Georgia just a couple of miles off  I75.  It’s a zoological theme park.  They have more than 40 rides, live shows, and attractions.  WILD ADVENTURES has a concert series with well known performers like the country group ALABAMA.

WILD ADVENTURES has a few different ticket options.  One includes food but has a minimum of four tickets; its great for a family of 4.  It’s cost is $52.00 each.  There is also an advance online admission ticket: 7 days in advance is $39.00 each or 2-6 days in advance is $41.00 each.  General Admission includes TWO days for $49.00  each adult, $44.00 each child, and also $44.00 for seniors.  They have a season pass which includes unlimited admission to both WILD ADVENTURES and SPLASH ISLAND WATER PARK for $89.99.  All of these prices sound great but we paid only $29.00 each.  If you have never tried LIVING SOCIAL, check it out.  It’s a great way to save a few $$$$.

We had an awesome day in the park.  They have a few roller coasters which are my favorite.  We rode a few other rides and even jumped aboard a train for a tour of some animals.  After that we watched a tiger show.  You can feed the giraffe and visit the petting zoo.  For a couple  more dollars we drove go carts. You can also pay more for mini golf.  It was 2 days before Christmas so the park was decorated with beautiful lights and trees.  You will do lots of walking so be sure to wear walking shoes.  Here are some walking shoes you may like.

If you are looking for a nice place for some family time this is your place.  It was very clean and no crowds.  We never had to wait in line more than 5 minutes.  When your driving through south Georgia and want to take a break for some fun and excitement, check it out! Bring a camera and back up batteries.
