BOBSLED JAMAICA & DUNNS RIVER FALLS
I try to do some shore excursions when I take cruises. This was my first time in OCHO RIOS JAMAICA. We were in OCHO RIOS for 8 hours of fun. I found this excursion through carnival cruiseline that consisted of 3 adventures- a skylift, bobsledding, and a river falls. We also were able to see some of the country side while traveling to the location. When arriving at our location we had to take a skylift to the bobsled. The views from up high were awesome.
Bobsledding is a popular excursion in Ocho Rios. This stems from the Olympics. This is somewhat like a mountain coaster. It was lots of fun. We flew through the mountains of Ocho Rios.
After bobsledding we moved on to DUNN’S RIVER FALLS. Where we climbed the river falls. We were climbing up against the water so it was challenging at times but we made it all the way to the top. Did I say the water was sooo cold? They have lockers here so you can bring your swimsuit and water shoes with you.
Have a water camera for this excursion.
After the water falls we enjoyed the tranquility gardens that is also located at Dunn’s River Falls before heading back to the ship.
I would definitely recommend this excursion if you are in Ocho Rios. The falls are tough on the legs and knees so you must be able to climb to do this excursion. It was only $90.00 per person for all of this. Great place to come. You definitely need water shoes for this excursion. I like these water shoes if you need some.
