THE GRAND CANYON is an amazing place. How awesome is it that we have 1 of the 7 wonders of the world in ARIZONA. We visited the SOUTH RIM of the GRAND CANYON. It is $30.00 per car to enter the gate but that pass is good for 7 days. You can go in and out as much as you want for 7 straight days. THE GRAND CANYON is in the middle of nowhere. I recommend bringing a bagged lunch and snacks with you because the food within 1 hour of the canyon is very expensive. THE GRAND CANYON is a once in a life time experience so I wanted to make the most of my experience by getting the best view possible. I thought that the higher I am the better view I would have and the more I could see so the best way I could think of was by air. I was right. Seeing the GRAND CANYON from a helicopter is the BEST! While being a kid in the early 70’s I loved the FLINTSTONES. I would hurry home from school every day just to watch the FLINTSTONES. Even through the many years it has remained my favorite cartoon. Most people today, young or old, know who the FLINTSTONES are. Before going to Arizona I found out that just south of the GRAND CANYON was a small place called BEDROCK CITY.
