GOLDFIELD GHOST TOWN

[metaslider id=1970]

GOLDFIELD GHOST TOWN is at the foot of the the APACHE TRAIL on the SUPERSTITION MOUNTAINS.  They have a lot to do here.  They have shops, historic buildings, saloon, museum, gold panning, train ride, zipline, mystery shack, horseback riding, shooting gallery,  and you can see a gun fight every hour of the  day.

Goldfield was established in 1893 when gold was found here.   Back then the town had 3 saloons, a post office,  a boarding house, general store, blacksmith shop, butcher shop, brewery,  and a school.  After only five years the gold miners left and the town became a ghost town.  The city was re-established in 1921  as YOUNGSBERG but again died in 1926 when the gold was gone.   Then in 1988 it was opened as GOLDFIELD GHOST TOWN as it is today.  This is a fun little western town.  You can easily spend a day here.
