  • THE SMOKEY MOUNTAINS

    We decided to go on a road trip through the GREAT SMOKEY MOUNTAINS.   We started from North Carolina all the way through to GATLINBURG, TENNESSEE.  If we went the interstate it would take 2 1/2 hours to get to GATLINBURG but if we drove through the national park it would take us 4 to 5 hours; however that wasn’t even an option.  We were ready for a long beautiful drive.  Ok, I think the highest speed limit I saw was 45mph and many times it was only 10-15mph.   I had plenty of time to take pictures so I have lots of pictures in my slide show.  The beauty of the nature was…
