DOLLYWOOD

Dollywood is my favorite theme park. Its located in Pigeon Forge , Tennessee. They have 7 rollercoasters. My favorite one was the Lightning Rod. The Lightning Rod opened last year and had many problems so now it is closed til next season. It was the fastest wooden launch rollercoasters in the world. My next favorite is the Eagle. It’s a very smooth loop coaster.

I hope you have on your walking shoes today because you will do lots of walking. Here are some walking shoes you may like if you are in need of some.

Dollywood has some smaller rides for kids and 2 water rides. They also have a few musical shows and other entertainment. One of the new things the park has is calming rooms for kids with autism.

The food is great in the park. My favorite is Aunt Granny’s. It’s a buffet style restaurant and is no more expensive than any other buffet (such as Golden Coral or Shoneys). The pulled pork sandwiches the park has are also delicious. I do have to say that Dollywood has a cinnamon roll that is to die for. If you are ever at the park, you must try it.

Dollywood has won more Golden Tickets than any other theme park. Golden Tickets are like the Oscars for that industry. In September Dollywood won BEST SHOWS (10 years running), BEST CHRISTMAS EVENT (11 years running), and FRIENDLIEST PARK (7 years running). They were also finalists in 4 other categories and FIFTH FOR BEST PARK IN THE WORLD!!

When I was at Dollywood they were working hard to complete their Halloween decorating. It looked incredible. Next year I hope to see their Christmas Decorations.

If you’ve never been to Dollywood it would be worth the trip. I definitely recommend it for all ages. And if you haven’t been there in a while they are growing. They have a new section opening in the Spring so get your bags packed and visit soon.  Don’t forget your camera.  Here are some cameras that I like.
